Back in November, we shared an early look at the Andy Roddick Foundation’s 13th Annual Gala and the important work ARF continues to do for youth with fewer opportunities. At the time, the event had just taken place and the full impact was still coming into focus. Now that the final numbers are in, we’re excited to share the great news with our community.
We’re proud to report that the 13th Annual ARF Gala officially raised $1.3 million. These funds directly support programs designed to help young people build the academic, social, and life skills they need to learn, thrive, and succeed—particularly those who face systemic barriers to opportunity.
ARF’s most recent program data reinforces just how meaningful this support is. Youth enrolled in ARF programs averaged a 93% daily school attendance rate, roughly 5% higher than their peers. In addition, ARF students outperformed their peers on STAAR reading and math assessments, with as many as 21% more students meeting academic standards. Today, ARF reaches 45,000 kids and families through its direct programs and its Learn All The Time Network—an impressive and growing footprint.
Since our November update, we’ve also seen Geau Sport show up in action at ARF’s Pickleball Poker event on Giving Tuesday. Using the Geau Sport tennis backpacks and pickleball bags we donated, ARF hosted a fun, high-energy night that raised over $10,000 in additional support for their programs. It was a powerful example of how sport—and thoughtfully designed performance gear—can bring people together while driving real impact.
